Open Call for Art+Science Fellowships – Emergence Festival 2027

How does complexity arise? How do simple interactions give rise to worlds, structures, behaviours, and forms of collective life?

The research consortium Emergence At All Scales (EAAS) invites artists, makers, and collectives to propose new artworks inspired by the theme of emergence.

Selected projects will:
• Receive a production budget of up to €20,000 (incl. VAT)
• Be developed in dialogue with EAAS researchers
• Receive curatorial support throughout the process
• Premiere at the Emergence Festival in Amsterdam (June 2027)

We welcome proposals in visual art, digital art, film, installation, performance, sound, and interdisciplinary formats.
