Rotterdam is under pressure\u2014socially, economically and culturally. Existing systems fail to address the problems many Rotterdammers face. We believe that artists and city shapers play an important role in addressing the big questions of today. <\/p>\n
engage 2025 is a gathering in which makers, residents, entrepreneurs and activists unite to make these questions visible. It is a process that starts from what is already going on, and keeps moving in what is yet to come. Because we don\u2019t want another event that comes and goes, but want to create something that keeps moving. And we\u2019re starting in Witte de Withkwartier. <\/p>\n
engage is not a white cube exhibition, not a temporary party.<\/p>\n
It is an open invitation to get involved, connect and imagine.<\/p>\n
It is a movement, not a prestige project.<\/p>\n
It is an intervention, not a showcase.<\/p>\n
Our city\u2019s residents have many talents, and we want to share them with you. By bringing our city\u2019s talents together, we hope to make them even more visible. <\/p>\n
