The festival begins with a series of workshops, with various contributions from artists, musicians, historians, and activists. DeForrest Brown, Jr. (https:\/\/transmediale.de\/en\/2025\/event\/spaceship-earth-2) leads a group questioning artists’ and institutions’ roles as \u2018saviours\u2019 of techno’s legacy, while eeefff (https:\/\/transmediale.de\/en\/2025\/event\/algosomatic-sessions) examines distant temporalities, work regimes, errors, leisure, and punishment. Ren Loren Britton (https:\/\/transmediale.de\/en\/2025\/event\/indexing-prototyping-transcrip-tech) focuses on community organising and techno-vernacular creativity, while Megen de Bruin-Mol\u00e9 (https:\/\/transmediale.de\/en\/2025\/event\/structures-of-haunting) leads divination and s\u00e9ance sessions.<\/p>\n

CTM\u2019s 2025 programming unfolds a kaleidoscope of voices amidst our chaotic and shifting realities, mirroring and adding to the confusing polyphony of our current moment. This evening, CTM takes over the Kuppelhalle and Betonhalle at silent green. Over the next 10 days it extends across the city to radialsystem, Volksb\u00fchne, MONOM, Berghain, Oxi, RSO.Berlin, and Morphine Raum.<\/p>\n

To start off transmediale’s festival weekend, join us for an evening of performances, music, and screenings \u2013 and some time to enjoy each other’s company! In the cinema room, a film loop will be on view presenting works from Nina Davies, Aaron Ratajczyk, Charlotte Zhang, and Sorowit Songsataya.<\/p>\n
