L\u2019opera \u00e8 esposta in forma permanente all’Environment Park di Torino.
\nApertura non-stop a ingresso libero da Via A. Costaguta 21, Torino.<\/p>\n

Quest\u2019anno \u00e8 stata inserita nella prestigiosa rassegna \u201cLuminarie\u201d della XXVII edizione di Luci d\u2019Artista, Torino, dal 25\/10\/24 al 12\/01\/25<\/p>\n

In un gioco di simboli che sposa tecnologia e natura, Cristallo di Luce \u00e8 la testimonianza microcosmica di tensioni che animano il macrocosmo del nostro pianeta. L\u2019opera presenta una struttura totemica in vetro, acciaio e alluminio, illuminata da un sistema a led autoalimentato da tecnologia fotovoltaica, custode di una pianta di ulivo.<\/p>\n

Cristallo di Luce offre un uso artistico ed ecologico della luce, restituendo alla comunit\u00e0 i benefici dell’energia che nutre l’opera, costituendo una sorta di \u201cpower-bank\u201d a basso impatto ambientale.
\nSi realizza cos\u00ec l\u2019ideale poetico dell\u2019artista, per cui:<\/p>\n

\u00abL\u2019arte deve essere sempre pubblica, paradossalmente non appartiene neppure all\u2019autore\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Emblema di sostenibilit\u00e0 energetica, Cristallo di Luce \u00e8 il frutto di un progetto pluriennale e itinerante, il cui viaggio dal 2022 ha toccato le comunit\u00e0 di Chamois, di Aosta e di Torino. A seguito di una prima esposizione torinese in Cavallerizza Reale durante la scorsa edizione della Torino Contemporary Art Week, l\u2019opera \u00e8 esposta in forma stabile presso Environment Park.<\/p>\n

Il progetto Cristallo di Luce, ideato da Diego Scroppo, \u00e8 prodotto dall\u2019associazione The Sharing. <\/p>\n

Ha vinto il bando \u201cART~WAVES\u201d, promosso dalla Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, che sostiene progetti destinati all\u2019ambito artistico e culturale, volti alla valorizzazione, produzione e fruizione di beni e attivit\u00e0 culturali sul territorio di Piemonte, Liguria e Valle d\u2019Aosta. Cristallo di Luce \u00e8 supportato da Regione Piemonte, Camera di Commercio di Torino e Fondazione CRT. <\/p>\n

L\u2019attuale sede dell\u2019opera, coronamento del tour di ALL-Natural, \u00e8 resa possibile grazie alla partnership con Environment Park – Parco Scientifico Tecnologico Per L’Ambiente di Torino. <\/p>\n

On the occasion of the XVIII edition of the Share Festival, we invite you to visit the public art sculpture Cristallo di Luce by Diego Scroppo, produced by The Sharing.<\/p>\n

The artwork is permanently exhibited at the Environment Park in Turin, with free entry available non-stop from Via A. Costaguta 21, Turin.<\/p>\n

This year, it is part of \u201cLuminarie\u201d, section of the prestigious program of Luci d’Artista – XXVII edition, Turin, from 25\/10\/2024 to 12\/01\/2025<\/p>\n

Through a blend of symbols uniting technology and nature, Cristallo di Luce by Diego Scroppo serves as a microcosmic witness to the tensions shaping the macrocosm of our planet.<\/p>\n

Its totemic shape combines glass, steel, and aluminum structures, illuminated by a self-sustaining LED system powered by photovoltaic technology.
\nThese elements are designed to house an olive tree.<\/p>\n

Cristallo di Luce exemplifies a public and echologic approach to the artistic use of light. It returns benefits to the community. The energy it accumulates acts as a common \u201cpower bank,\u201d minimizing the collective environmental impact.
\nThis work embodies the poetic ideal cherished by Diego Scroppo, who asserts: <\/p>\n

\u201cArt must always be public; paradoxically, it does not even belong to the author.\u201d<\/p>\n

As emblem of energy sustainability, \u201cCristallo di Luce\u201d is the result of a multi-year, itinerant project that has engaged the communities of Chamois, Aosta, and Turin since 2022. Exposed at the Cavallerizza Reale during the previous Contemporary Art Week, the work is now on permanent display at Environment Park.<\/p>\n

The Cristallo di Luce project, conceived by Diego Scroppo, is produced by the Association The Sharing.<\/p>\n

It won the “ART~WAVES” call for bids promoted by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, which supports artistic and cultural projects aimed at enhancing, producing, and enjoying cultural goods and activities in the regions of Piedmont, Liguria, and Valle d’Aosta. Cristallo di Luce is supported by the Piedmont Region, the Turin Chamber of Commerce, and the CRT Foundation. <\/p>\n

The exhibition of the work, part of the ALL-Natural edition of Share Festival, is made possible through a partnership with Environment Park – Parco Scientifico Tecnologico Per L’Ambiente di Torino. <\/p>\n
