A seguito delle due tappe valdostane, Chamois e Aosta (2022), la scultura di Diego Scroppo arriva finalmente a Torino!<\/p>\n
Attraverso il bagliore che emana e l\u2019energia che restituisce alla comunit\u00e0 grazie ai suoi pannelli fotovoltaici, Cristallo di Luce si posiziona come un mediatore tra natura e tecnologia, trasfigurando il valore di beni essenziali come la luce e l\u2019elettricit\u00e0 in una dimensione non pi\u00f9 strettamente economica e privata, ma gratuita e collettiva.<\/p>\n
Ispirata alla dualit\u00e0 e alla geometria della natura, la struttura di Cristallo di Luce \u00e8 possente nella sua esteriorit\u00e0, come le montagne dalle forme irregolari e maestose, ma delicata e precisa nella sua intimit\u00e0, evocando la forma geometrica dei cristalli celati nelle profondit\u00e0 delle caverne. Un richiamo al gioco di opposti e forme che definisce sia il macrocosmo che il microcosmo. Non a caso, infatti, la scultura rievoca l’antico obelisco, un simbolo di connessione tra terra e cielo, oscurit\u00e0 e luce. <\/p>\n
Cristallo di Luce \u00e8 un\u2019opera in cui si dissolve la dicotomia naturale e tecnologico, sintetico ed organico. In un mondo in cui la distinzione tra il naturale e l’artificiale diventa sempre pi\u00f9 sfumata, quest’opera sottolinea la magia che si manifesta quando arte, storia e scienza convergono.<\/p>\n

Following the two stops in Valle d’Aosta, Chamois and Aosta (2022), Diego Scroppo’s sculpture finally arrives in Turin!<\/p>\n
With its radiant glow and the energy it contributes to the community through its photovoltaic panels, Cristallo di Luce serves as a bridge between nature and technology. It transforms the significance of vital resources like light and electricity, transcending their conventional economic and private roles, and rendering them as communal and freely accessible assets.<\/p>\n
Inspired by the duality and geometry of nature, the structure of Cristallo di Luce is mighty in its exterior, like mountains with irregular and majestic shapes, but delicate and precise in its intimacy, evoking the geometric shape of crystals hidden in the depths of caves. A reminder of the interplay of opposites and forms that defines both the macrocosm and the microcosm. Indeed, it is no coincidence that the sculpture evokes the ancient obelisk, a symbol of connection between earth and sky, darkness and light.<\/p>\n
Cristallo di Luce is a work in which the dichotomy of natural and technological, synthetic and organic, is dissolved. In a world where the distinction between the natural and the artificial becomes increasingly blurred, this work underscores the magic that occurs when art, history and science converge.<\/p>\n
