L\u2019invito \u00e8 indagare come la nostra societ\u00e0 guardi al futuro e tematizzi \u201corizzonti multipli\u201d utopici o distopici. Letteratura, cinema, serie tv, fumetto, videogiochi e nuovi media narrativi hanno sempre immaginato la relazione tra naturalia e artificialia e raccontato il mondo attraverso la lente, spesso deformata, di numerose emanazioni di uno degli archetipi postumani pi\u00f9 amati e temuti della storia: il mostro di Frankenstein. Robot, androidi, cyborg, computer senzienti e altri prodotti dotati di un\u2019intelligenza simile a quella umana hanno affollato e affollano la cultura popolare. L\u2019avvento di una nuova comprensione digitale, conseguita allo sviluppo di forme di intelligenza artificiale ha rapidamente trasformato la societ\u00e0 umana, diventando una presenza quotidiana sempre pi\u00f9 diffusa. Laddove l\u2019intelligenza artificiale pu\u00f2 essere vista e concepita come un\u2019opportunit\u00e0 per migliorare la vita umana, come in campo medico o tecnologico, persiste la preoccupazione che questa possa sostituire i valori umani e compromettere la nostra autonomia e le relative capacit\u00e0 di scelta. La nuova relazione tra uomo, macchina e algoritmi ha sollevato importanti questioni etiche relative a: raccolta dati e controllo della privacy, impatto sull\u2019occupazione, responsabilit\u00e0 umana, bias cognitivi, automazione morale, impatto ambientale, evoluzione biologica, crisi internazionali. La cultura popolare ha sempre svolto un ruolo fondamentale nell\u2019aiutare le persone a comprendere queste e altre situazioni complesse: essa fornisce strumenti per la resistenza, poich\u00e9 anche la narrativa pi\u00f9 oscura pu\u00f2 invocare la consapevolezza, la mobilitazione, la sfida allo status quo e l\u2019immaginazione di un futuro utopico. In tal senso, la cultura popolare pu\u00f2 essere vista come un mezzo di emancipazione e di costruzione di un mondo migliore. Come afferma Stuart Hall \u201cla cultura popolare \u00e8 un\u2019arena in cui le ideologie, le relazioni di potere e le identit\u00e0 sociali sono negoziate e contestate: essa \u00e8 in grado di dar voce alle minoranze, offrendo rappresentazioni alternative e contestando i discorsi dominanti, contribuendo alla costruzione di una nuova realt\u00e0\u201d….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
