Since then, we\u2019ve heard from peo\u00adple all over the world\u2014espe\u00adcially writ\u00aders, artists, pro\u00adgram\u00admers, and other cre\u00adators\u2014who are con\u00adcerned about AI sys\u00adtems being trained on vast amounts of copy\u00adrighted work with no con\u00adsent, no credit, and no com\u00adpen\u00adsa\u00adtion.<\/p>\n
Today, we\u2019re tak\u00ading another step toward mak\u00ading AI fair & eth\u00adi\u00adcal for every\u00adone. On behalf of three won\u00adder\u00adful artist plain\u00adtiffs\u2014Sarah Ander\u00adsen, Kelly McK\u00ader\u00adnan, and Karla Ortiz\u2014we\u2019ve filed a class-action law\u00adsuit against Sta\u00adbil\u00adity AI, DeviantArt, and Mid\u00adjour\u00adney for their use of Sta\u00adble Dif\u00adfu\u00adsion, a 21st-cen\u00adtury col\u00adlage tool that remixes the copy\u00adrighted works of mil\u00adlions of artists whose work was used as train\u00ading data.<\/p>\n
