However, with how fast the industry changes, figuring out where to start can be daunting, so we compiled this list.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Note that the type of hardware you have might determine which apps you can use. For instance, all the apps mentioned here require headsets with six degrees of freedom (6DoF)\u2014like the Oculus Rift S\/Quest, HTC Vive, and Valve Index\u2014which track both your rotation and position in 3D space as opposed to headsets with three degrees of freedom (3DoF)\u2014like the Oculus Go\u2014which only track your rotation. \u00a0Also, most apps require <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oculus.com\/rift-s\/oculus-ready-pcs\/\">VR-ready PCs<\/a> to run and some are tied to specific app ecosystems.
