Share Festival annuncia la XVII edizione di Share Prize!
Share Festival, storica manifestazione italiana dedicata all’arte contemporanea in dialogo con scienza e tecnologia, apre ufficialmente la call for art per Share Prize XVII, il concorso internazionale che premia la sperimentazione artistica e l’innovazione creativa.
TEMA SCELTO PER QUESTA EDIZIONE:
TOMORROW NOW: The Art of 2050 AD
a cura del direttore artistico Bruce Sterling e della curatrice Jasmina Tešanović.
Immagina l’arte di un tempo che ancora non esiste. Cosa vedranno, ascolteranno, creeranno le persone nel 2050? Il futuro è il nostro presente alternativo.
Per la sua diciannovesima edizione, Share Festival ti chiede di provare a osservare nel prossimo quarto di secolo, usando l’arte come strumento per sondare il futuro prossimo. Per dirla con il nostro direttore artistico Bruce Sterling:
Quello che vorremmo vedere è l’arte quotidiana, accessibile, popolare
e pienamente riconosciuta dalle persone che vivono 25 anni nel futuro.
Non è la nostra arte del 2025, è la loro arte del 2050.
È l’arte del loro tempo.
Cerchiamo opere che esplorino il rapporto tra arte, scienza, tecnologia e immaginazione, in qualsiasi formato, anche combinando strumenti analogici, materiali naturali o dispositivi digitali.
Premio in palio: 2.500,00 €

Share Festival, the historic Italian event dedicated to contemporary art in dialogue with science and technology, officially opens the call for art for Share Prize XVII, the international competition that rewards artistic experimentation and creative innovation.
THEME SELECTED FOR THIS EDITION:
TOMORROW NOW: The Art of 2050 AD
curated by Artistic Director Bruce Sterling and Curator Jasmina Tešanović.
Imagine the art of a time that doesn’t exist yet. What will people see, hear, and create in 2050? The future is our alternative present.
Share Festival, in its 19th edition, is asking you to take a look into the next quarter of century, using art as a tool to survey our next future. With the words of our Artistic Director Bruce Sterling:
We simply want to see the everyday, accessible art that’s popular
and fully-accepted by the people who happen to live 25 years in the future.
It’s not our art from 2025, it’s their own art from 2050.
We’re looking for works that explore the relationship between art, science, technology, and imagination — in any format, including combinations with analog tools, natural materials, or digital devices.
Prize: € 2,500.00
Deadline for submissions: May 23rd, 2025, at 11:59 PM (CEST)
Announcement of finalists: July 2025
Winner announcement: During the Opening of Share Festival XIX
