Welcome to the Metaverse II

On Wednesday June 16 at 8pm EDT, Rhizome will host a conversation about new virtual form of collaboration, and exchange via the blockchain and decentralized platforms. The panel features four practitioners who are engaged in ongoing work with social tokens, DAOs, and NFTs: Marguerite deCourcelle, artist and CEO of Blockade Games; Kevin McCoy, artist and founder of Monegraph; Trevor McFedries, founder of Brud and Friends With Benefits; and Rhea Myers, artist, hacker, and writer. The event will be available on Zoom with pre-registration here.

This event is the second in a two-part program that began with Aria Dean and David Rudnick in conversation on Wednesday May 19. A recording of that conversation is available on Rhizome’s Vimeo channel.

This event is presented in conjunction with “World on a Wire,” the first exhibition in a new partnership between Hyundai Motor Company and Rhizome of the New Museum to showcase leading digital art globally.
