News from Feral File

On July 20th at 00:00 GMT, Feral File will launch support for crypto payments (USDC, ETH, and BTC). We’re excited for this change because it expands your ability to collect without limits. Many credit card companies have purchase limits while others are starting to ban purchases related to NFTs and cryptocurrencies without having a transparent policy in place for their customers. Traditional payment processors like Stripe have difficulty handling payments to and from certain regions, and this move to crypto also allows us to pay you more directly if that is your preference.

As part of this change:

We will be using Wyre in place of Stripe to process payments. Wyre supports purchases from credit cards and cryptocurrencies. We have revised our Terms for Artists and Collectors to reflect the new service.
We are expecting 2-6 hours of downtime to implement the change. During this time, no new transactions will be processed.
All proceeds from your resale transactions will be placed into an account balance, viewable in Account -> Profile at the top of the Feral File website.
You will be able to withdraw a positive account balance in cryptocurrency (USDC, ETH, and BTC) at any time to an external wallet within “Account.” Balances will be shown in USDC.
