Reply AI Film Festival

*It’s a press release.

Good morning,

I hope this email finds you well.

Reply, the global tech group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange (market cap exceeding €2.9 billion), is happy to announce the jury for the third edition of the Reply AI Film Festival, the international short film competition where all entries must be made using AI tools.

The 2026 jury includes Guillem Martinez Roura, AI & Robotics Lead at the ITU’s AI for Good programme, and Filippo Rizzante, Chief Technology Officer of Reply. They are joined by Gabriele Salvatores, Academy Award-winning director; Rob Minkoff, co-director of The Lion King; Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight; Giacomo Mineo, VFX supervisor on Oppenheimer and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey; Christina Lee Storm, producer and former DreamWorks Animation and Netflix executive; Jed Weintrob, director and partner at 30 Ninjas; Nils Hartmann, Executive Vice President of Sky Studios Italy; Sky Italia film journalist Denise Negri; and IndieWire reporter Brian Welk.

Entries are assessed on the use of AI across the full production pipeline, from screenplay to post-production, as well as creativity and production quality. A dedicated prize, the AI for Good Award, recognises the best short film addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in partnership with the ITU.

The submission deadline is 1 June 2026. Finalists will be presented at a premiere event in Venice in September, co-organised with Mastercard. The festival sits within Reply Challenges, a programme with close to 250,000 participants worldwide.

Let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to arrange an interview with Filippo Rizzante or any other juror should you wish to explore the story further.

Best Regards,
