Dear Bruce,
OGR Torino, the hub of Fondazione CRT, is delighted to invite you to the opening of three international exhibitions that intertwine artistic research and technological innovation, on Friday 31 October 2025, from 7 pm, at OGR, corso Castelfidardo 22, Turin.
At Binario 1, WE FELT A STAR DYING by artist Laure Prouvost, commissioned by LAS Art Foundation and co-commissioned by OGR Torino, originally curated by Carly Whitefield for LAS and by Samuele Piazza for OGR, at Binario 2, ELECTRIC DREAMS. Art & Technology Before the Internet, organized by Tate Modern and OGR Torino, curated by Val Ravaglia and Samuele Piazza, at Binario 3 DRUMMING FOR LOVE an installation by Kosovar artist Erzë Dinarama, commissioned by OGR Torino within S+T+ARTS4WaterII and curated by Iacopo Prinetti.
Additionally, the Corte Est of OGR will be illuminated by the installation Mummer Love, by Soundwalk Collective in collaboration with Patti Smith and Philip Glass. This work, presented thanks to Fondazione CRT, is part of the 28th edition of the Luci d’Artista festival.
These exhibitions, each offering different yet complementary perspectives, open new investigations into the intersections between art and technology, offering an international and multidisciplinary lens through which to explore the cultural transformations shaping the present and the future.
We are also pleased to share that the exhibition ELECTRIC DREAMS will be accompanied by a catalogue, to be presented on Saturday 1 November at 10 AM at the Libreria Internazionale Luxemburg, Galleria Subalpina, Via Cesare Battisti 7, Turin.
Introduced by Marco Zappalorto, Director of International Strategy and Partnerships at OGR Torino, the conversation will feature Liliane Lijn, Val Ravaglia, Samuele Piazza, and Francesco Manacorda, Director of the Castello di Rivoli, who will explore the themes of the exhibition and Lijn’s autobiography Liquid Reflections, published by Hamish Hamilton, Penguin Random House.
Please kindly confirm your welcome attendance, and that of any guests, by clicking the RSVP button.
