Critical Issues Affecting Feral File Android and iPhone Apps.

We are writing to inform you about critical issues currently affecting the Feral File app on Android and iOS iPhone.

Issues:

1) Android App May Lose Access to Your Wallet Assets
The Feral File app on Android may lose access to wallet assets if users clear the app data on the mobile device. Please DO NOT clear data through Settings -> Application -> Feral File -> Storage -> Clear data.

What you should do:
Make sure your backup is active in Settings -> Google -> Backup, and backup immediately. Android will typically auto-backup every 8 hours, we suggest that users wait for half a day after switching on backups to make sure the backup is complete.
If you have already cleared data and lost access to your assets in the wallet, as a temporary solution, perform a factory reset of your mobile device to restore the most recent backup from Google Cloud. Note that a factory reset would erase all data on your phone.

2) Android App Does Not Load
For Android users, some devices may not load the Daily screen after updating to version 0.53.17.

What you should do:
As a temporary solution, make sure your backup is active in Settings -> Google -> Backup, and backup immediately. After making sure the backup is done (Android will typically auto-backup every 8 hours), remove and reinstall the Feral File app. Once these steps are completed, your app should load without issue.
The fix to this issue is expected to be released this week.

3) Apple iOS App may send Feral File art purchases to the wrong address [Resolved]

When purchasing an artwork on feralfile.com via Apple Pay, if the payment address was different from the recipient address, the wallet may send the artwork to the primary address of the Feral File app instead of the recipient address entered by the user.

What you should do:
We have already fixed this issue. However, if you encountered this issue, please verify the transaction and manually transfer the artwork to the recipient address.
Turn on backup in the Feral File app via Menu -> Settings -> Back up.
